Controlled Products Systems Group is looking for a branch warehouse associate. **when responding, please list your experience/qualifications. Include your resume if possible** The Branch Warehouse Associate is responsible for providing the highest level of quality and service to our customers. Responsibilities include accurate and timely receiving of inventory, product movement, cycle counting and shipping orders accurately in a timely manner and in a salable condition. While performing duties, the Warehouse Person will be responsible for operating lift trucks and warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Unloads trucks and puts away product according to established guidelines. 2. Picks, packs and ships customer orders according to customer requirements and guidelines. 3. Loads outbound shipments to assure compliance with weight restrictions and order requirements. 4. Performs cycle counts to insure inventory accuracy. 5. Maintains warehouse equipment according to company policy. 6. Cleans warehouse on a daily basis to maintain a clean and safe working environment. 7. Assists customers with order pickup. 8. May process returned goods in some locations. 9. May process UPS shipments daily in some locations. 10. Assists with handling incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requested. 11. May perform basic modifications to parts of customer products per specified requirements. 12. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver's License Experience: • Warehouse management system and/or inventory management system experience a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and the ability to lift at least 70 pounds often. • Strong communication skills (English) required • Familiarity with Bill of Lading as well as other shipping documentation. • Fork Lift certification required Work Environment Typical Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Exposure to weather conditions and noise are moderate. Employee frequently interacts directly with other staff members and/or customers during the workday. Equipment Used: This position will be required to use equipment such as, but not limited to: calculator, phone, fax, scanner, copy machine, and personal computer. In addition, the position will be required to operate lift trucks, hand trucks and warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and driving a fork lift.
