I am an internationally (fide) rated chess player and instructor looking for students. Chess is a beautiful art that teaches patience and improves memory and concentration. I specialize in working with kids but am willing to take any age student. I have worked with the West Contra Costa School District since 2018 as a contractor providing chess instruction to children between first and sixth grade. At one point I even had over a hundred concurrent students. I would suggest at least 1 hour a week of chess class but depending on the student and many other things that number can be flexible. I charge $30 a class for private students. Classes with multiple students will be cheaper per person as I offer group rates so tell your friends and family!
