Yates Wood & MacDonald, one of Seattle's original and oldest real estate companies (since 1944) is looking for a full time handyman for our in-house handyman company, Yates Wood Property Services. Your job would be to take calls from the company's property managers for one-off handyman type repairs, like failing wood areas (on decks, stairs, garbage enclosures, mailboxes, etc) or interior drywall and paint from a water leak. It could even be a really small job like replacing a burnt out light bulb or moving a sofa that was put in a garbage area incorrectly. A real variety of work each day. You'll need to be able to prioritize jobs and set your own daily and weekly schedule based on the work orders that are received. We are looking for someone who is independent, organized and experienced. Hourly wage, plus paid Holidays and PTO (paid vacation and sick), plus medical & dental insurance, plus fuel reimbursement. You will use your own vehicle and do your own scheduling (and complete work orders to assist accounting with the billing).
