Description

Community Clean Up 2021 Please join us in celebration of Earth Day! Allen Realty Group and Jayco Disposal will be hosting a clean-up of Route 91 in South Berwick, Eliot, and York to address the large amounts of garbage on the side of the road. We will be providing trash bags and a receptacle, as well as curbside pick up. We'll be hosting a morning kick-off on April 17th at 8am at the Brixham Grange Cafe at 435 Cider Hill Road in York, ME. Come grab a cup of coffee and a scrumptious muffin with us before we get down to business! Special thanks to the Cafe for allowing us to park the dump trailer here throughout a busy Saturday! Be sure to grab a bite to eat if you haven't had a chance to try their food. This is a wonderful addition to our community! To RSVP, register for this event and choose how you will attend - Kick-off at the Grange, or door-delivery for your special trash bag. At check-out we will ask you to select your disposal option - curbside pick-up or delivery to the dump trailer at The Grange. Special thanks, also, to Nick and his team at Jayco Disposal for volunteering their time, trucks, and services to beautifying our communities. Saturday, April 17th Itinerary: 8:00am - meet at Brixham Grange for registration/kick-off Collect your colored bag for roadside trash When you're done, leave the bag on the side of 91 and the Jayco driver will pick it up, or bring your bag to the dump trailer at Brixham Cafe2:00pm - Curbside pick-up and the drop off will end, so be sure you're done by then! Can't make it to the Cafe? Register for a bag drop-off in advance. Pick up will still be on the 17th. We kindly ask that you take this opportunity to clean up trash that's blowing around our roads and yards, not your basement or garage (yes, that happens!). This is a community give-back day! If you need help with spring cleaning, give Jayco a call. They've got lots of options for all your disposal needs. Remember: Wear VERY bright clothing so drivers can see you. Try to stay off the pavement, you'll be safer off the roadBring gloves, possibly even rubber ones, as the gullies are wet!You may also want to wear rain or muck bootsIf you have road cones or safety signs, don't hesitate to put them up where you are workingPlease feel free to invite family and friends!
