New Apartment Community located in Avon is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician and Groundskeeper. The job duties will include all aspects of the apartments and the common areas of the community. Experience is preferred but not required. Technician: The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: - Prepare units for new tenants - Plumbing fixture replacement - Electrical repairs and light fixture replacements - Interior painting - Completing work orders in residents’ apartments with clear communication to ensure their satisfaction - Able to be on call for afterhours maintenance emergencies and able to respond in a timely manner - Snow removal and help in maintaining the grounds Groundskeeper: - Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings. - Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis. - Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs), and paint prior to make-ready. - Assist Director of Maintenance/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. - Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models. - Assist maintenance team with snow removal (If applicable). - Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems. - Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
