You're Invited to the our first fundraiser and premier screening of the award winning documentary '2nd Chances' at Film Alley Terrell, TX. BE OUR GUEST2ND CHANCES.LIFE is excited to premier our award winning film '2nd Chances' to the community on May 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM. *2nd Chances is an award winning documentary directed by Dav Lewis (Terrell/Kaufman Native). The film sheds light on the impact the criminal legal system has had on 4 men in Terrell (Tarance Gladney, Byron Mims, Antoine Simmons, and Chris Gipson). The film not only shares the challenges faced during and after incarceration but more importantly the positive impact these men have had on the community. On May 1, 2021 we will also celebrate and honor the lives of both Byron Mims & Antoine Simmons who both transitioned in 2020. Our community suffered a great loss and our goal is to ensure their legacy lives on forever. We've started a scholarship foundation in honor of their life and we're excited provide 2 high school seniors with $500 scholarships. (See attached flyer for details on how to apply).
