Freedland has practiced law in South Florida for more than 20 years. During that time, he has been involved in a number of high-profile and high-value cases throughout the state of Florida and those of national interest. He focuses his practice on cases involving medical malpractice, pharmaceutical liability, products liability, and those involving catastrophic injury from motor vehicle accidents. He is also active in the community and advocates for consumers’ rights through legislative change. Freedland received his J.D. from the University of Miami. Harwin represents victims of medical malpractice and handles personal injury matters, pharmaceutical liability and cases involving nursing home and assisted living neglect and abuse. He has secured multi-million-dollar settlements on behalf of his clients. When he is not in trial, Harwin is busy lobbying for the rights of consumers, including serving as a board member for the Broward County Justice Association and a member of the Florida Justice Association’s Medical Malpractice Committee. He is also a member of the American Association of Justice Birth Trauma Litigation Group.
