MANATEE COUNTY, FL — A 33-year-old Palmetto woman won the top $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 MONEY TREE scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release. Baneza Brown chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000 at Florida Lottery's headquarters in Tallahassee. She plans to use her prize to purchase a new home. "I'm so excited to move into a place with more space for me and my family," she told Florida Lottery. Brown purchased her winning ticket from 7-Eleven at 2011 Cortez Road W in Bradenton. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Like what you're reading?
