Adult Awards honor those who make it possible for Girl Scouting to continue generation after generation. Nominated by your peers and staff. Join us on April 24th as we honor YOU, our beloved volunteers at our 2021 Awards Drive-Thru Gala. Please RSVP for a designated time that you would like to arrive so we can plan accordingly based on the number of RSVPs received. We ask that you not arrive before your assigned arrival time. We also ask that you wear your mask throughout the entirety of the drive-thru. The gala will honor you with: • Brunch, for you and your driver to be enjoyed in your car picnic style. • Keepsake goodies • A stage on which to honor you. • DJ who will spin tunes for you while you wait in the drive-thru line • Our entire staff along the parade route cheering you on! There are also additional optional gifts available for pre-order. Order now and pick up at our pop-up shop the day of the gala! More detailed instructions will be provided two days before the event via email and again on-site the day of the event. Please click on "register" to RSVP and/or let us know you will not be joining us - so we know who to expect the day of. How will this event work? 1. Check-in with staff at the first station at the entrance to the Hacienda. 2. Your car will be directed to the next station based on your arrival time. 3. Check-in at the brunch station to pick up your cooler with your hors d'oeuvres box, along with a few other keepsake items. (Dietary restrictions indicated within registration) 4. Next, you will arrive at the awardee station where you will exit your vehicle, and walk across the stage, and be honored by our Chief Mission Delivery Officer “E” Elizabeth Locke-Thomas, Yuma County Director Emilia Cortez, and local Yuma Team and for a photo-op. Then proceed off the stage for a "posed" photo op of you and your well-deserved award. 5. Finally, take a moment to remind yourself what an awesome job you have done shaping young girls of courage, confidence, and character. We are so honored to have you be a part of the Girl Scout Community! 6. Don’t forget to visit our pop-up shop to pick up any gifts you may have pre-ordered! PS... Don't worry we will guide you the day of we just wanted to let you know "how" this drive-thru gala will work.
