Participates in machinery trouble-shooting, documents repairs made for construction machinery like pavers, rollers, backhoes, dumpo trucks, etc... • Replaces or repairs defective parts. • Reassembles equipment and tests for conformance to specification. • Works on assigned projects: responds to emergency maintenance calls. • Disassembles malfunctioning equipment: examines and tests mechanisms on large and small pieces of machinery. • Performs work in a quality fashion. • Performs basic electrical installation, installs wiring and conduit safety in compliance with company. State, & federal regulations. • Operates machining tools and drill presses: performs basic welding operations. • Services pumps and drive system components. • Provides preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting services for processing equipment, and filtration equipment. • Provides preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting services • Maintains shop machines, tools and facilities. • Promotes occupational safety standards. • Follows shop safety practices and shop housekeeping practices. • Operates electrical equipment, hand tools, and power tools safety. • Provides general facility maintenance and servicing for other departments. • Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness. • Must be able to lift 50lbs. • Will be responsible for maintaining the company’s buildings, facilities and equipment in an operating and functional condition.
