Welding Basics: GMAW(Mig)

Gain an understanding of the fundamentals of GMAW commonly referred to as Mig welding. The cost of the class covers all materials needed and you will be provided with a welding helmet and gloves to use while you are here. We will go over the basics of the machine as well as common flat position welds. If you have your own Welding protective equipment (helmet, jacket, etc) feel free to bring them. You are must bring and wear your own safety glasses. The required dress for the class is closed-toed shoes, denim pants with no holes or frills, cotton long-sleeve shirt (preferably dark). Guests are asked to be on time for events. If the safety briefing is missed, the guest will not be able to join the class and no refunds will be given. If an attendee is a minor, an adult must also purchase a ticket and attend the class with the minor. Masks must cover the nose and mouth, as mandated in NC. Hand sanitizer and bathrooms are available for hand washing during the event.
