Learn about desert plants, while helping to plant a bit of the West, right here in Georgia. Wild spirits need wild places to survive. With Desert Door Texas Sotol's recent debut in Georgia, we wanted to create a space for folks to roam, right here in Atlanta. Join us to help install our West Texas garden in East Atlanta Village. We are bringing plants common to the west like agave, ocotillo, and of course sotol to our new community plot. Learn about each of these plants while helping us to create our garden and at the end, you'll get to sample a taste of one of them with our Texas sotol. From 1-3 pm, we'll plant our new garden with your help. The last hour is for you to enjoy complimentary Desert Door craft cocktails and bites by Sweet Auburn BBQ. We'll take you on a little plant walk and share a bit about each plant. We're thrilled to connect with the EAV community. Please note: Face coverings are required as well as the practice of safe social distancing. We can only host a certain number of people to keep with reduced capacity requirements in this space, so please sign up to ensure your admission.
