SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose three-tenths of a cent Wednesday to $3.971, the second consecutive day it has risen by that amount.
The average price has risen 54 of the last 56 days and is at its highest amount since Nov. 15, 2019, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 2 cents higher than one week ago, 18 cents more than one month ago and 97.8 cents greater than one year ago.
The average price has risen 74.4 cents since the start of the year, including 48.8 cents in the last 56 days.
