Free Firearms Safety Training Class
The massive increase of U.S. citizens’ firearms ownership, has also lead to increasing incidents of negligent discharges, unlawful firearms handling, and subsequent arrests. Georgia Weapons Carry License applicants, suffer no requirement to obtain any education, training or legal guidance, as a condition of approval or firearms purchases. To overcome “cost objection” and maximize participation, there is no fee associated with attending this class. (Course value is $100 / person)

Introduction
F.A.S.T. is a community enrichment program of the Education Council on Personal Safety & Security, (ECOPSS) Incorporated. Established in 2009, ECOPSS is a College Park based non-profit, crime prevention education and training company.
Mission
The objective of the Community F.A.S.T. program is to reduce personal injury, property damage and criminal charges arising from inappropriate interactions with a firearm. Community F.A.S.T. will provide you with the knowledge, skill and attitude, to become fully responsible firearms owner.

Universal Firearms Safety Rules, Safe Interactions With the Cops, De-escalation, Fighting vs Defending, Types of Firearms, Georgia Weapons Carry License (WCL) Application, Open vs Concealed Carry, Straw Purchases, Use of Force Continuum, How to Select a Firearm, Firearms Legal Liability Insurance, Red Flag Laws, 5 Elements of Self Defense, Q & A session.
