Housemate needed for a 43 year old man with Down Syndrome. He has several part time jobs, takes the bus independently, goes to the gym, hangs out with family and loves sports, especially baseball and the Dodgers. He has been living in his own home with support for 18 years. He is seeking a new housemate who will provide support in cooking, meal planning, shopping, personal care and share their love of sports and community activities. Housemate can have a full time job as long as they are able to provide overnight support and some evening shifts (paid). The housemate will have their own bedroom and bathroom and free rent. Pay rate for overnight is minimum wage and shifts is $16/hour. Condominium is located in West Goleta.
Requirements for employment include references, DOJ fingerprint clearance, CPR certification, reliable car, proof of insurance and resume. Tentative move in date is May 2021.
