Young home-raised parrotlets, about 4 1/2 to 5" beak to tail, weighing about one ounce. These are true tiny parrots who enjoy human friends. Parrotlets eat cockatiel seed, fruits and vegetables in small quantities, and sample many foods we eat. A parrotlet usually likes perching on a shoulder, arm, or head (sometimes in a pocket), and may learn to talk, but repeating laughter and sounds is more common. Please check the internet to help decide if a parrotlet is a good choice for you. This is a relatively easy pet to care for, and good with careful, older kids, but needs daily food & water, attention, and some time out of the cage. Rehoming fee is $200. Located in GJ.
