GRAYSLAKE, IL — Springtime can only mean one thing: the Grayslake Spring Farmers Market is back. The market will return on Saturday and occur weekly from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., market president Steve Sarich said in a reopening notice. The market will run every Saturday through May 29. On June 2, the spring market will come to a close, and the summer market will begin. A week-by-week look at the market's vendors is available online. "We feel that it is important for the community to know who the people are that give of their time to make the Grayslake Farmers Market Lake County's oldest and largest running Market," Sarich said. "The Board and staff devote their time and effort on a year-round basis planning, promoting, and executing all of the behind-the-scenes elements that go into producing our Market." In the newsletter, the market's president urged patrons to continue following COVID-19 guidance, including wearing masks indoors and practicing social distancing. "Your health is our top priority!" Sarich wrote. "Thanks for your cooperation and see you at the Market!"
