Here are five of our top picks: Outdoor Dining, Shopping In Doylestown Several streets in Doylestown will close to vehicles this weekend as part of Operation Doylestown, allowing restaurants and shops to expand their outdoor offerings. West State Street from Hamilton to Clinton streets will be closed to vehicle traffic Friday and Saturday. Visit the African American Museum of Bucks County As the African American Museum of Bucks County prepares to move into their permanent location, Boone Farm in Middletown Township, in 2022, residents and visitors can see a sample of what will be on display in their new home. The exhibit at the Bucks County Visitor Center, 3207 Street Rd, Bensalem, pays tribute to the lives, culture, accomplishments and contributions of African Americans in Bucks County, from their origins in Africa through the 21st century. The exhibit features a timeline of events in African American history in Pennsylvania, the history of the Underground Railroad in Bucks County, and the role of Bucks County AME churches in helping African Americans transition from slavery to freedom. Enter The Bucks Beautiful Daffodil Photo Contest Snap pictures at one of the Bulbs for Bucks planting sites and share them on social media to enter the contest. Three random winners will receive two tickets to the June 13 garden tour and a signature daffodil mug or canvas tote bag.
