EEI Creative Arts is a new private school in Los Angeles, now offering virtual summer intensives (2 weeks) for high schoolers interested in the creative arts (visit www.eeicreativearts.com/summer). Students will take workshop-focused courses led by Hollywood professionals to immerse themselves in the world of film, from the comfort of their own home, maximizing the amount of one-on-one time and small group guidance with the instructor.Courses will be from July 5-16 (Session A) & July 19-30 (Session B) in the following: 1. Visual Storytelling Beyond Film (Session A) - This course will provide first-time writing students with a creative, non-traditional introduction to the screenwriting process. The class will teach students how to develop their original ideas in a unique framework to promote out-of-the-box creative thinking. 2. Disruptive Virtual Tech in Film Production (Session B) - This course will give first-time Production students a solid foundational understanding of the tools and techniques used by cutting-edge filmmakers. Students will spend a large portion of the course working hands-on with Unreal Engine 4, a state-of-the-art game creation engine currently used by Hollywood filmmakers. 3. Directing the Digital Worlds of Tomorrow (Session B) - This course will provide students with a working knowledge of the fundamentals of directing feature films and television projects, as well as introduce key emerging technologies in the field of Virtual Production. Students will begin by learning the basics of how to break down a script, plan shots, and operate camera equipment.Parents can sign-up for more information here
