Washington County Guided Bird Hikes To Continue In May

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN— Guided bird hikes in Washington County will continue May 8, the county said. The program is free with a parks vehicle permit, which costs $7/day or $30 annually, the county said. Participants can register for a guided bird hike here by searching "guided bird hikes," the county said. The hikes will occur 9-10:30 a.m. at the following dates and locations: May 8, at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional ParkJune 12 at Lake Elmo Park ReserveJuly 10 at St. Croix Bluffs Regional ParkAug. 14 at Pine Point Regional ParkSept. 11 at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional ParkOct. 9 at Big Marine Park ReserveNov. 13 at Pine Point Regional ParkDec. 11 at Lake Elmo Park ReserveHikers should meet at the trailhead kiosk and dress for the weather, the county said.
