When winter weather caused us to cancel Mardi Craw earlier this year, we promised to hold a crawfish boil when the weather was warmer and the mudbugs were bigger. That time is now. But this isn't a crawfish boil just for giggles. A friend is in need. On April 3, 2021, Jaycie Moody, the daughter of First Seat friends, Sara Asplund and JD Moody, was hit by a drunk driver as she was getting into a parked vehicle. The impact threw Jaycie under the driver's vehicle and dragged her for several yards causing very serious injuries. Thankfully, she is alive. She is still hospitalzed and has a long road to recovery. However, the driver was uninsured and Jaycie's medical bills will be signifcant. We pledge to give 100% of the net proceeds from this crawfish boil to go to Jaycie and her expenses.
