Press release from the Cass County Government: 04/06/2021 2:00 pm Cass County has been and continues to be in a period of abnormally dry conditions compiled with high winds which could result in an increased potential for rural fires. The Board of Cass County Commissioners declares a Fire Emergency and Burn Ban effective when the North Dakota Rangeland Fire Danger Rating Index is at the Very High, Extreme Rating, and or a Red Flag Warning has been issued for Cass County.  Please continue to monitor the North Dakota Rangeland Fire Danger Rating Index to stay up to date with any changes to the Fire Emergency and Burn Ban.    This press release was produced by the Cass County Government.
