Outdoor Stand-up Comedy show at Verve Restaurant Show featuring the best and brightest comedians from around the country! Line-up: Headliner: Nimesh Patel! Nimesh Patel is an American comedian and television writer. In 2017, he became the first Indian American writer on Saturday Night Live. In 2015, he was doing standup in Greenpoint when he was discovered by Chris Rock. Patel then joined Rock's writing team for the 88th Academy Awards ceremony. He also wrote material for Hasan Minhaj's 2017 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner appearance. In 2017, Patel began working as a full-time writer for Saturday Night Live, mainly writing jokes for Weekend Update. In 2018, Patel was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for his work on SNL. Patel has appeared on @midnight, Comedy Knockout and Late Night with Seth Meyers. When entering the showroom you will be asked to put your phone into a patted envelope. You will have you phone on your person at all times but if you need to use it you must leave the showroom to take it out of the envelope. The Verve menu will only be offered until the performance at 7pm. At 7pm the menu will change to a shared plates menu and Verve cocktails. If your full party arrives for dinner before 6:30 you will receive 15% off your check . *Social Distancing Required, Please do not come if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to someone with the virus. To be able to properly keep social distancing we are selling tables of 4 instead of individual tickets. If you don't have 4 people you can still come but you still need to purchase a table of 4 .
