Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 04/07/2021 210971234 Preliminary Release: On 4/7/21, around 2:56 pm, officers responded to a person shot at the location of 98 William H. Borders Dr. SE. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who sustained a gunshot wound. The male was not alert, not conscious or breathing and was pronounced deceased on scene by responding EMS services. Homicide detectives will be responding to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
