Outstanding driver safety and transportation intelligence company seeks Configuration Coordinator to work with Supply Chain manager on production needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Implement computer, video network equipment including but not limited to APs, networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area network (WAN) •Offload returned units to facilitate and ensure video data is stored in database for analyzing and evaluating information. •Light Manufacturing- update firmware for units including but not limited to ECO specifications, and inventory etc. •Configure customer systems to their required specifications including but not limited to controllers, cameras, APs, networks, LAN, WAN, routers. •Maintain minimum daily & weekly productivity goals. •Test system to ensure 100% quality. •Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware software and peripheral equipment. •Ensure that customers receive the highest level of customer service. •Communicate issues concerning customer orders to the Supply chain manager or team leader. •Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines •Lift and carry up to 25 pounds of force frequently (34-67% of the workday) and 26 to 55 pounds of force occasionally (0-33% of the workday). Push and pull up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (0-33% of the workday). •Stand and /or walk in combination for the duration of the workday. •Lift as required, squat, kneel and crouch to complete customer orders. •Other duties as assigned. May include other warehouse duties /shipping •Teamwork and service orientation. Education/Experience: •2 years’ experience •Analytical skills and the ability to solve problems •Ability to quickly learn about new technology and keep pace with an ever-changing industry. •Minimum 2 years’ experience with the ability to assemble and disassemble computer equipment •Mechanically inclined. •Minimum 2 years knowledge of computer software and computer components, configuration of various types of computers and networking. •Basic knowledge of CDMA & WIFI cell systems. •Extremely strong organizational skills •Proven background and experience in continuous process improvement •Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to effectively work with people independently and team environments including other departments and/or outside of the company Other Skills: •Self-motivated with a can-do attitude. Eager to become an immediate contributor to the company •Can operate in an open and collaborative environment •Must be service oriented •Must have a “hands-on” approach •Can work with limited supervision •Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and meet deadlines •Ability to work overtime hours as required
