MARINA MAINTENANCE WORKER Driscoll Mission Bay is seeking a skilled full time Maintenance Worker. This job centers around performing tasks such as electrical, plumbing, and wood framed dock repair, and other general maintenance requests at our marinas. Duties include, but are not limited to: *Maintenance of docks, fish offloading pier and marina facilities. *Repair all minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry as necessary. *Carry out regular routine maintenance of the marina’s electrical and mechanical equipment, buildings and infrastructure. *Direct, move, assist, and securely moor vessels to dock. *Direct tenant issues to director of marina operations. *Maintain accurate records related to vacant and occupied slips, including liveaboards and pets. *Walk docks and parking lot daily and report any unauthorized use to office administrator. *Enforce marina rules and regulations. *Report the removal of any hazardous waste material to management. *Maintains inventory on all maintenance supplies and requests purchase orders to replenish. *Maintenance at other facilities as requested by management. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, great interpersonal skills, and the desire to learn. Driscoll Mission Bay is a local, family owned and operated full-service boat repair yard located in the heart of Mission Bay. Qualifications: Must have effective interpersonal, communication skills, and a positive “can do” attitude. Knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used to perform general maintenance and repair of docks and associated equipment. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable clear record is required. Salary: Starting at $18-21 an hour, DOE. Applicants will not be considered unless they have Marina or other relevant experience. Education: High School Diploma Work Authorization: United States (Required) Work Location: Multiple Locations Benefits: Health, dental, vision, accident, life, vacation/sick time, and 401k Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Physical Requirements: May occasionally require employee to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
