Hi there! We are looking for an awesome English-speaking Event Helper / Cleaner to join our team at our small boutique event venue, Violet Cactus, in Burbank! ----------------------------------------- www.VioletCactusVenue.com ----------------------------------------- We have two venues (two doors down from one another) and we specialize in intimate events including bridal and baby showers, small weddings, dinner parties, and more! We are looking for someone who can handle two different types of shifts: Turnover Shifts (1-2 hrs, $35-50/hr): Event Space Housekeeping/Turnover This is a 1-2 hour shift wherein you would HUSTLE to "turn" the space over between events (cleaning up the previous event and setting up the upcoming event) Event Helper Shifts (4-8 hrs, $20/hr + tips): Event Helper / Housekeeper for Events This would be during the actual events to assist Client with loading in, setting up their event, maintaining the space, helping clear food/drink, and assisting them with loadout at the end of their booking. These shifts could potentially be STACKED meaning you could do a Turnover Shift + Event Helper Shift and make $150+ for 5-6 hours! Job Tasks include: --General Cleaning (Wiping counters, Cleaning Mirrors, Vaccuuming, Mopping, Cleaning restroom, etc.) --Restocking Supplies (restroom & kitchen paper products, soaps, hand sanitizer, etc.) --Making sure lights and air conditioning are on and ready to go --Arranging the tables and chairs for the next booking (applicant should be able to lift and carry 15 lbs) --Some Customer Service (must be comfortable talking to clients / showing them what to do in the space when they arrive for their event) --Decorating & Setting the tables with table linens, silverware, plates, decorations, etc. --Helping Client with A/V and ensuring client has everything they need (you would be our Onsite Representative as "Event Helper" during event shifts) The big thing about this job is that the hours are unpredictable. We need someone with a flexible schedule who can come help out for a few shifts most weekends... Someone who lives in Burbank/NoHo/Glendale is a must!
