General Duties: This position reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager and is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the Lower Club. Specific Duties: 1. Pick up all dishes, glasses, utensils, tables, and chairs on the patio, family dining area, terrace, bar, and along the sidewalk in front of cabanas left out from the night before. 2. Blow all sidewalks, PT courts, and parking lot daily. 3. Vacuum floor, wipe down table and raise umbrellas inside Anacapa Bar and Santa Cruz Terrace. 4. Set Santa Rosa Room for yoga and reset tables after class. 5. Maintain the employee dining area. Put fresh linen on tables daily. 6. Replenish PT courts with drinking cups and fresh towels throughout day. Return all soiled towels to laundry for washing. 7. Empty all trashcans and replace with new liner. 8. Pick up all trash from parking lot and along PCH. 9. Clean all BBQ grills from previous day. 10. Replenish ice containers on daily basis (Lower and Upper levels) 11. Wash down PT courts twice a week (Tuesday and Friday). 12. Clean Team Room and Gym. 13. Clean all windows. 14. Prepare Bocce Courts 15. Maintain glass rail on second floor cabanas, private dining room and fitness room. 16. Assist in setting up for Parties. 17. Assist in cleaning Men’s locker room and Fitness room if necessary 18. Turn in a checklist on a daily basis to Clubhouse Manager. 19. This job requires bending, stooping, squatting, heaving lifting, and long periods of standing. 20. Anything else the Clubhouse Manager deems necessary to accomplish the overall goals of the club. Physical demands and work environment: Physical Demands • Able to stand for long hours, bending, squatting, lifting and reaching over. • Ability to use hands, fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. • Ability to reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear. • Occasionally lift and or move up to 40 lbs. Environmental Factors • The employee is exposed to working outside environmental conditions in high temperatures, and cold temperatures. Work Hours This position is an hourly position with a work schedule according to demand. Hours and days may vary during summer season. Weekends and holidays may be required.
