Stephanie Garon’s Breaking Ground explores humanity’s connection to nature through a gallery-wide immersive installation. Garon’s environmental artworks emphasize the fragility of nature through ecologically motivated interventions. Garon takes what we hear about nature and materialized it in her installation work. Whether the viewer navigates their movements through the installation or reflects on the sculptural decomposition of natural materials, the contemplative space explores how we, as people, interrupt the natural world around us. Her environmental artwork has been exhibited internationally in London, Columbia, and South Korea, as well as across the United States. Breaking Ground opens on April 9th 2021 and closes on May 22, 2021.
