To help alleviate Spam please put "Winnebago" in subject line. I have a 1987 winnebago elandan at Dave's sales and service in hibbing. I am quite certain he would prefer that I have this thing towed to you rather than you work on it on his property But equally I am certain arrangements can be made. This motor home is a little hard on the eyes....ok... a lot. But it has a certain sentimental value and for that I want to keep it and be able to drive it to St. Louis, MO. That said I only want fixed what needs fixing. If you notice other problems but it will make it to Missouri let me know but we will probably let them be. Here is what I know: 1) Need to remove and replace radiator. I have a radiator in the Twin Cities for replacement. Lord knows if it's the right one though. God willing.... 2) Install serpentine belt on new alternator. Alternator is already in place. 3) Repair or replace tail lights and roof lights on rear. Could very well be as simple as replace the bulbs. 4) Install paneling on bedroom ceiling. Already have paneling and 1x4's for this. I have absolutely no idea what a job like this would cost at a shop. I do however know that I don't have the time to deal with it but I want it done. I know a radiator replacement is in the neighborhood of $600 at a shop. I have no tools at the motor home, no jack, nothing. So you will have to provide your own tools also. I am pretty flexible on how long this takes but I can't draw it out either. Some RV mechanical knowledge will be very helpful. Some basic mechanical knowledge will be expected.
