Male, Neutered, Microchipped, Vaccinated, 9-month-old, 58-lb., Labrador/Dalmatian-mix dog Cody is very active, eager to play, and seems to be trainable. While this dog has been in my care, I have introduced him to get him to walking on a leash on my left side, responding to a few basic commands (we’ve made some progress with "sit"), and behaving himself when he's inside a house. Cody is a big cuddly sweetie, but I can't keep him long-term (my husband and I are renting, and already have 2 dogs). He needs a forever home with an enclosed yard or kennel. He can jump low fences, and will roam the neighborhood if not properly contained. He gets along well with other dogs, but isn't fond of smaller animals (like squirrels, cats, chickens, or rabbits). The new owner will receive Cody’s veterinary records, & more information about dog-training programs in San Antonio.
