Palouse Homes is looking for a Maintenance and Grounds Technician. This role is a hybrid between a standard Maintenance Technician and a Grounds Keeping position. Our ideal candidate is a strong team-player who enjoys a changing work environment and contributes to a positive work culture. This person is also an energetic and motivated self-starter who has a desire to learn and strives for continuous improvement of themselves and their work. Responsibilities: ▸Complete general work orders within a timely manner ▸Assist in turning around vacant units ▸Performs preventative and corrective maintenance ▸Assisting Maintenance Supervisor when needed ▸Maintain grounds and curb appeal by performing various duties such as routine litter clean, cleaning building exteriors, raking, weeding, and gardening ▸Enforce policies, procedures and standards provided by Palouse Homes. ▸Ensure compliance with OSHA Safety guidelines Qualifications: Highschool Diploma or equivalent ▸Reliable transportation required ▸Basic set of tools required ▸Basic Maintenance experience or similar field (preferred) ▸Basic grounds/landscaping experience (preferred) ▸Must be able to stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50lbs ▸Offers are contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen Schedule: ▸Flexible depending on preference and subject to written agreement ▸Average shift is 8 hours. ▸Occasional 6-hour or 10-hour shifts. ▸Total hours per week: 32-40 preferred but flexible depending on preference and subject to business needs
