Mobile Service Diesel Technician Mobile Service Technician Department: Idealease Service Location: Greensboro, NC White’s Idealease is now accepting applications for our Diesel Mobile Technician / Mobile Technician position at our Greensboro, NC location! The responsibilities of the Diesel Mobile Technician /Mobile Technician include performing high quality Preventative Maintenance and repairs on heavy duty commercial trucks at the Customers’ facility using a fully equipped Mobile Service Truck. Idealease Mobile Technicians successfully PM, repair, analyze and troubleshoot truck issues on all models of International trucks. Accountabilities Perform assigned tasks in compliance with Idealease policies, procedures, and Best Practices at the customer location using a fully equipped Mobile Service Truck Accurate completion of repair orders Keep accurate notes on repair orders to ensure accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work environment Interface easily with Idealease/dealer computer system Basic computer skills in order to navigate the Navistar Service Portal for diagnostics Support other technicians in repairs with the interest of the customer Maintain/attain required skills to be a qualified state inspector (DOT) Maintain confidentiality with respect to Idealease/dealership information Interface easily with Customers’ drivers and managers on a daily basis Minimum Basic Skills Knowledge of basic engine and driveline Knowledge of basic electrical Knowledge of cab and suspension EPA 609 Certification Trailer preventative maintenance work Knowledge of air, hydraulic, and full power brake systems Perform preventative maintenance on all fleet equipment to include reefer units & lift gates Diagnose and repair various concerns on reefer units and lift gates Special projects as assigned by Service Manager Trade Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience Required Provide own hand tools up to 1/2 in. drive Knowledge of proper use of all tools Inspection and lubrication Cab, frame, front axle, steering gear & springs Brake system, air and hydraulic Clutch, transmission and differential Engine tune-up, electrical/electronic testing Overhaul, major components Trailer repairs White’s Idealease LLC – 7045 Albert Pick Road – Greensboro, NC 27409 Related keywords: diesel mechanic, mechanic, diesel technician, diesel
