Job Description Electric pallet jack & reach truck operator needed in Hutchins, TX. Electric pallet jack & reach truck operator will be working in hot or cold conditions and may spend an entire shift on his or her feet. Electric pallet jack & reach truck operator should prioritize speed and accuracy above all else. We require Electric pallet jack & reach truck operator to always pay attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Electric Pallet Jack & Reach Truck Operator Responsibilities • 1st shift is 7am-4:30pm $13.50 per hour • 2nd shift is 4pm-12am $14.50 per hour • Pick merchandise from the distribution center and transport it to the shipping bay • Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents • Forklift operation (Reach Truck, Sit Down or Electric Pallet Jack) • Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log • Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately • Pack orders in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping • Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times • Train and support new employees as they are on-boarded • Scan all containers to determine appropriate contents as well as end destination Electric Pallet Jack & Reach Truck Operator Qualifications • High school diploma/GED preferred • Current forklift certification a plus • Previous warehouse experience preferred • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance • Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs.
