Hello Musicians, I’m looking for players that think they are ready for prime time. I am 60 years old and a lead/rhythm guitar player. I have practice space and know what sells in clubs. I help run sound around town. I see a lot of venues. You have to play to the women. They want to dance. The men will follow. That is cut and dried. It all needs to be danceable and upbeat. I am open to any genres as long as it meets the criteria (danceable and upbeat). Lately, I’ve been playing with a few tunes…(Love Shack, Modern Love (Bowie), I Can’t Go For That (Hall Oates), What You Need (INXS)…). I can handle the guitar parts (but I’d rather have another good guitarist). Additionally, I’m looking for bass and drums as well as a keyboardist and backup/front singers. I do have a sax/keyboard player but he’s a sax player. So, if you’re a keyboardist, I’d like to hear from you. I’d like to hear from anyone interested that meets the criteria. It’s hard to find a rhythm section where both sing. I give a singing break to drummers but it would be nice to have. This could be such a fun project with the right personnel.
