Olson Asphalt Maintenance, successful and reputable sealcoat company is searching for a laborer. Our shop is located in Seaside, our service area is up and down WA and OR coastline. Wage: starting wage is TBD, but no less than $19/hr; higher start wage is possible depending on relevant experience. Experience in either fencing or sealcoating is preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right person. Pay raise is possible based on work ethic and performance after 3 months of employment. CDL is NOT needed. Requirements: 1. A driver's license in good standing. 2. Ability to pass a drug test. 3. Reliability, dependability, accountability and positive attitude. 4. Must be in good physical shape to keep up with the work. 5. Flexible schedule (varying start times, weekend/evening work as needed). 6. Common sense. Work is manual labor: 1. Sealcoating 2. Parking lot surface preparation (working outside) 3. Parking lot striping and layout 4. Crack-filling 5. Pressure washing 6. Equipment maintenance and other miscellaneous work. 7. Fence repair and installation (working outside) Benefits: 1. We pay federal holidays - straight pay if you are off; time and a half if you are working, after eligible time period. 2. 401K matching after eligible time period. 3. Christmas bonus- amount depends on your work ethic, hours worked, and business profitability, after eligible time period. 4. During our busy season, there is mandatory OT.
