GO Box designs, builds, and operates circular, zero-waste reuse systems that eliminate the harmful environmental, social, and economic impacts of single-use products. We are currently focusing on addressing single-use waste resulting from to-go food and drink by providing professionally clean and sanitized reusable containers and cups as a service to foodservice establishments and takeout customers. We are a profitable start-up looking to rapidly scale our service this year.
We are currently seeking to fill three Operations Specialist positions who will be responsible for duties necessary for the successful sanitation of reusables, as well as logistics and warehouse operations. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will contribute to the overall success of our service. We work in a sun-filled warehouse on the north side of Sellwood, near the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.
Job Type: Full and Part-Time Positions Available (30 -40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour, payable weekly
Available Shifts: Monday – Friday, 10 am – 6 pm.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process reusables through the wash/sanitation, drying and repackaging process
- Unload and load reusables into delivery trucks
- Help keep warehouse clean and safe
- Main equipment used is a commercial sink, hand carts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work well with as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly, read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations
- Reliable; consistently at work and on time
- Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willingness to report potentially unsafe conditions
- Capable of lifting 25-50lbs
- Forklift certification helpful but not necessary
