Thriving excavation company in the heart of Vancouver, Washington is seeking a highly motivated individual! We are currently seeking a full time Heavy Equipment Mechanic with potential for advancement and growth with the company. The ideal candidate must be motivated with their work as well as being willing to learn and develop their skills. Must also be detail oriented, honest and carry out tasks safely, professionally and in a clean manner. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. • Perform minor and major repairs on equipment, possibly on vehicles as well • Perform diagnostic tests using both mechanical and computer related tools • Maintain accurate records of each repair and maintenance performed • Maintain cleanliness in the shop and of assigned vehicle • Must have valid driver’s license Must also have your own set of tools for heavy equipment repair. Some specialized tooling ( computer and plug-in for multiple brands ) has been acquired by our shop for use. We operate Monday-Friday with some Saturday’s. The ideal candidate should be available to work 40+ hours per week.
