TO SCHEDULE: Pet owners MUST call the Shelter at by Friday, April 16th, to make an appointment so the staff can space out the number of people coming in over the course of several hours. IMPORTANT: All dogs six months of age and older are required by law to be vaccinated for rabies and licensed. Pets whom are ill, on antibiotics, in heat, or on cortisone products cannot be vaccinated. Please wear a mask and please be on-time. For Jackson County residents. VACCINES AND LICENSING COSTS/PAYMENTS Vaccinations available for dogs (CASH ONLY as this fee goes to the veterinarian): Rabies ($10 cash for each vaccine) and Distemper/Parvo booster ($15 cash for each vaccine ). Vaccinations available for Cats (CASH ONLY, same pricing as dogs): Rabies and Distemper/Rhino/Calici booster. Dog license fees (Check or Credit/Debit Card, or Cash), vary based on length of licensing, and there is also a discount for veterans and seniors 62 years and older. When calling for your appointment, ask the staff about the fee for your dog(s).
