We are a family run tree company that runs all year long and has been in business for 10 years. We are based in King of Prussia and service the main line. We are safety oriented and have a friendly, knowledgeable, and conscious tree crew. Our young staff are teaching and learning together to expand their knowledge of tree operations including, climbing techniques, aerial lift operations, best practices in pruning, shaping, and felling as well as continuing to improve our efficiency in day to day operations. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our team and learn to become the most knowledgeable and efficient employee they can be. If you feel you have gone as far as you can with your current company, we can help you progress in whichever direction you feel you'd like to go within the industry whether that be learning to climb or operate more specialized equipment. People applying must have a valid drivers license with clean driving record. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has driven larger trucks (under CDL) as well as truck/trailer or chipper combinations. What is expected: We are looking for someone who can meet at our equipment yard and work from 7:30-4:00 Monday through Friday. Employees are expected to help load the trucks in the morning, attend a job briefing at the yard or jobsite, help lower, stack, or drag brush and smaller logs. Employees will also help maintain and keep track of tools, and clean up at the end of the job. There will be opportunities to learn how to set lines, maintain and operate equipment, prune or fell trees and if the employee is interested, learn how to properly and safely become a climbing arborist or elevated lift platform worker. Candidates must have valid drivers license with clean drivers record and some experience in the trades as well as driving trucks. Candidates must be able to get to the shop at 7:30 each day. Ideal candidates should have 1-2 years experience in the tree care industry. Experience running tree equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and skid steers. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance, the ability to set lines from the ground and knowledge of knots to assist a climber in the air, as well as back trailers and trucks into driveways.
