Summary NSCS Waste is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the full time position of Debris Removal Foreman. NSCS works with a number of home builders in placing wood bins and dumpsters, and removing the units as they fill up with construction debris. This position is a supervisory and administrative position, directly overseeing the duties of crews consisting of drivers and unskilled laborers. Duties and Responsibilities The employee in this position is responsible for the daily direction and assistance of activities in construction debris removal and lot cleans. They will oversee the duties of labor crews and ensure efficient work and that safety procedures are followed. This position follows general policy direction and sets daily activities, priorities and objectives for crews, as well as maintains effective working relations with staff, supervisors, and project managers in order to meet quality standards and resolve problems on a timely basis. The role requires proper communication with the manager concerning assignments and scheduling manpower and inventory. The Debris Removal Foreman will also assist the Operations Manager in staff training and employee evaluations. This position requires computer proficiency as daily route sheets will need to be printed every morning. Qualifications The preferred qualifications for this position include a High School Diploma or equivalent. The Debris Removal Foreman must have some computer knowledge, as well as strong time management, communication, and organizational skills. ***Mandatory qualifications include CDL Class A License and ability to operate skid steer/ bobcat. *** Applicants must have the experience in a supervisor role, working in a team environment, all while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of 4 years in a construction supervisor or managerial role, preferably in a waste removal or debris setting.
