It is a place children can learn, play and grow individually and in a group setting making friendships that will last a lifetime. I am located in the Hearthstone Subdivision off of Pleasant Valley Rd. in Florence. I offer both full time and part time childcare as well as back up care for those days when school is closed or your current childcare provider is not able to watch them. I am available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM for your convenience. I enjoy doing activities with the kids such as going to the neighborhood pool, the local parks, the library for story time or just having play time in the fenced in backyard where we have a swing set, trampoline and sandbox (weather permitting of course). We also have an arts and crafts time and a learning time for their development as well as a playroom of toys for their enjoyment. I do provide them a healthy lunch and snack every day so you can be sure they are well taken care of. It is a somewhat structured environment so the kids and parents know what to expect each day. I will post pictures of the days activities on the Facebook page or group (with your permission of course, otherwise pictures can be texted to you) so you can enjoy seeing your children throughout the day while you are away. A little background on me... I am married and have 4 children living here at home. The older 3 are in school all day and the youngest one is in kindergarten. I am a college graduate with a degree in Social Work. I have an extensive background working with children. I was a substitute teacher for the Boone County Schools before I decided to start watching children full time in my home and before that I was a social worker for 10 years. I have worked in many day cares as well as a church caring for children when I was younger. I know it can feel uneasy leaving your child in someone’s home that neither you or your child know but I have had numerous background checks done so you can be sure you are leaving your children in a safe and loving environment. I also have many references I can provide to you. I will earn your trust as you leave your little one in my care.
