Rochester's scooter and bike share program is hiring full and part time technicians to support routine maintenance and field operations. Ideal candidates will have experience working at a bicycle shop with bicycle repairs or other type of mechanical, technical, trade, service experience. Responsibilities • Driving a van, collecting bicycles, loading and unloading bicycles from van, and balancing hub locations • Scooter/Bike inspections and repairs • Maintenance record keeping • Interaction with back-office software system • Respond to and solve issues • Other tasks and duties, as needed, beyond daily responsibilities Qualifications • Ability to work independently, complete tasks on your own without supervision • Ability to load, and move around bicycles, 50 pounds each • Valid DL with good safety record • Willingness to work outdoors • Computer skills • Education: High School or Equivalent • Interest in cycling, transportation, and community HOPR is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications equally without regard to applicant’s race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status or any disability as provided in the American’s With Disability Act.
