Overview: We are seeking a permanent, professional housekeeper and cook to support a family in South Tampa. We are a family of four with two busy executives who both work from home and two teenage young men – who can eat a seemingly impossible amount of food. The work environment is calm and without drama. At the same time, this role requires someone who needs little supervision, who truly enjoys cleaning and organizing and understands how to perform high-quality work. The ultimate goal is to make home life easier for a busy family. The ideal person has experience as a House Manager, professional housekeeper in a family setting and the ability to prepare healthy meals a few times per week. Age is not important, and we even encourage older folks to apply. Hours: a typical week is Monday through Friday, 10 am to 3 pm, but the hours may change occasionally based on holidays or other family events. The position guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week but can go to 40 hours on occation. Compensation: The position starts at $20/hr with an annual increase and includes paid holidays, vacation, and paid time off. Must be able to pass a background check before going on the payroll. References are required. Primary Responsibilities • Maintain and clean home daily, including kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms • Wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens • Keep all rooms clean, neat, and tidy • Regularly organize closets, pantries, refrigerators, and even the garage • Identify items that need to be repaired or fixed - Manage contractors and repairs • Shop for groceries, stock pantries, and maintain the appropriate amount of household supplies • Prepare dinner for the family a few times a week • Run errands on a weekly basis Thank you.
