Description
Fast paced, privately owned 3PL firm in Bloomington, CA is seeking a seasoned, high energy safety manager to supervise warehouse floor activity, promote a safe environment, and ensure correctness of the time/attendance entries.
This position requires experience utilizing ADP Time/Attendance, as well as working knowledge of OSHA and Fed/State safety rules/regulations. Position requires conducting safety training (one on one) and meetings (work groups) on a consistent basis. The applicant will demonstrate a solid background in leadership/motivation addressing corrections and implementing new processes within the workplace.
This position has the responsibility of completing any/all incident and accident reports. Conducting employee orientation and exit interviews, while managing the temporary/seasonal work staff, to ensure their compliance with the company’s procedures and work rules.
This position requires a “hands-on” approach, working closely with the warehouse staff, and being visible “on the floor” throughout the workday. The ideal candidate will possess a solid business acumen, impeccable time management skills, and have a desire to “stretch” themselves into other components of the business.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. Industry experience - 3PL, Transportation, and Warehousing Preferred. Must be able to speak Spanish.
