Cultivation Technician Job Purpose The cultivation technician will provide the ground level labor required to operate a successful cultivation facility. Their job is to follow direction and complete the direct and indirect plant touching tasks needed to grow high quality cannabis. Duties & Responsibilities • Follow direction from facility manager • Complete general plant maintenance tasks • Follow the facility calendar and complete tasks in a timely manner • Maintain a clean workspace • Follow proper safe work protocol and wear PPE when directed • Take stem cuttings • Transplanting • Assist with plant harvest • Basic system diagnostics • Post cycle clean up and reset Experience & Requirements • Fluent in English • Be able to lift weight of up to 50 lbs. • Stand for long periods of time • Minimum of 1 year of hydroponics or agriculture experience, or completion of training program • Knowledge of Cannabis cultivation • Experience in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) is huge plus • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving • Must be results oriented with the capability to work independently and within a team • Proficiency with technological tools and applications • Reliable transportation • Legally capable of working in the U.S. • Valid Driver’s license • Candidates must complete a live scan (arrests and some felonies DO NOT disqualify you from this position)
