Summit Rental Equipment Rental Yard Technician The wash Rack/Yard person position requires being able to operate all kinds of equipment and utilizing it to keep the yard clean and organized while keeping its equipment clean through regular washing. A Wash Rack/Yard Person will be required to work outside exposing them to various types of weather. The right candidate will have good people skills, be able to deliver message, and keep files on fuel logs. They will also report any damage to equipment found during check-ins to the supervisor. A wash Rack/Yard person will work with counter personnel on assisting customer with any questions or information needed. Job Details: • Maintain professional appearance of self • Obtains customer signature and other information as required • Ensure all equipment and attachments are clean, safe, properly tagged and ready for use • Assists customer and outside haulers with the loading and unloading of equipment when necessary. • Adhere to all company polices, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form • Must be detail oriented and punctual! • Assist technicians when help is needed • Fuels and meters equipment upon check in • Stages equipment for deliveries • Ensures yard and shop is neat and efficient and picks up… Education/Experience requirements • A high school diploma or equivalent • Knowledge of construction equipment and its application • Clean 3 year driving record • Superior customer service acumen for internal and external customer • Organized and operates efficiently • Application required to be 21 years of age
