Janitor Lead – Family Physicians Clinic Where: Port Townsend, Washington (Family Physicians Clinic) Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt Wage: $15.25 per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) and a robust wellness program Work Schedule: Full-time, Swing Shift, 5:00 p.m.- 1:00 a.m. Skookum is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor Lead with a positive attitude. This individual is responsible for a variety of janitorial and lead duties. Typical duties include but are not limited to: • Responsible for various reports and documents such as employee coaching forms, time sheets, route sheets, accident/incident reports. • Assigns, coordinates, and tracks employee work assignments. • Reviews work orders, monitors the safety and well-being of employees, and record work completed. • Provide training as needed in a respectful and mutually beneficial manner. • Clean and keep an orderly condition of work areas. • Follow cross contamination procedures. • Floors – Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, polish floors according to schedule. Locations include but are not limited to offices, halls, entrances, exits, high traffic areas. • Restroom and Showers – sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. • Restock supplies – restock supplies daily. • Dust equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polish metal fixtures or trimmings. • Remove trash from various areas. Office areas trash according to schedule. Qualifications: • Hospital janitorial experience is preferred. • Able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way. Requirements: • Valid State Driver’s license required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance company. • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted for this position.
