Upscale events take a lot of planning well ahead of time. If you have a party with a hip hop theme that requires a professional DJ, with me I schedule a year in advance. So I like to ask the host to come down for a listening session in my studio. Therefore we can go through songs quickly, add them to the playlist and I can then arrange them in order afterwards.
