Landscaping Technician Overview: Midtown Centre Office is currently seeking a dedicated, hard working landscaping professional to join our team. Midtown Centre Office is America’s first suburban office park located just two miles from downtown Jacksonville, FL. The office park consists of 30 commercial buildings and is situated on 48 acres of property. This is a full-time, salaried position. This position does not include any health benefits at this time. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Knowledge of varieties of turf, bushes, plants and hedges Proper trimming/pruning techniques Ability to operate heavy machinery Ability to follow all safety guidelines and protocols Ability to lift at least 50lbs. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop area Ability to follow instructions from a landscape supervisor Supprort a supervisor in their absence on the property Ability to communicate with a team regarding issues, schedules, etc. Experience with gas powered machinery (mowers, blowers, trimmers, UTV, etc.) Must be able to work extended hours to perform additional duties in season Must have attention to detail with landscaping Duties and responsibilities are subject to change Qualifications: Must have at least 3+ years of recent landscape experience Must have reliable transportation to and from work Results driven Exceptional communication and organizational skills Extremely organized and detail-oriented Must be able to provide references for landscape related experience
